Job description

Data Center Market – Project Manager

The position will be part of EVAPCO’s newly created Data Center Business unit, which is experiencing tremendous growth. The Data Center market is rapidly evolving and growing to support the exponential demand for AI. This market growth has resulted in significant heat rejection requirements, which is supported by EVAPCO’s full spectrum of heat rejection technologies, which include fully evaporative products such as open cooling towers and closed-circuit coolers, hybrid closed circuit coolers to balance energy and water efficiency, and dry and adiabatic coolers to maximize on water savings. All of these products have applicability to Data Center applications depending on the project and site constraints. It is the responsibility of the Data Center Business Unit to manage all aspects of data center projects including equipment selection, discussions with consultants and end users, sales negotiations, order entry and project execution.

EVAPCO’s share in the Data Center market continues to grow, and as more projects are secured, a detail oriented, organized and self-motivated Project Manager is required to execute projects per their defined objectives, while effectively communicating with all associated stakeholders and managing schedules to the customer’s expectations. The Project Manager will manage multiple Data Center projects/contracts simultaneously. Responsibilities include involvement with the internal and external sales teams to understand project scope and equipment selection, terms of supply and project timeline, after which they will oversee the entire project from order booking to shipment, start-up and commissioning. The Project Manager will coordinate with all teams internally and directly with the customer, site teams, contractors, consulting engineers, and all parties associated with project execution.

At EVAPCO, the people make the difference. As a privately-held employee-owned company, you share in the ownership of the business; each employee has a stake in the company’s success, and the company has a stake in each employee’s success.
