LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead hyperscale and mission-critical data center developments in Michigan from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. You will work on behalf of the owner, coordinating stakeholders and driving project outcomes across major digital infrastructure projects in the United States.

The role requires visible onsite leadership, coordination of multi-disciplinary teams, and rigorous control of programme, cost, quality, and risk

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management, construction management, or owner's representation experience.
  • Experience delivering data center, mission-critical, or other technically complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost management, procurement, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Owner's Representative on major data center construction projects across Michigan.
  • Lead coordination between contractors, consultants, design teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, change management processes, and project reporting.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure milestones are achieved per programme requirements.
  • Review and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, commissioning activities, and turnover docs.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Participate in executive stakeholder meetings and provide clear updates on progress, quality, safety, and commercial performance.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, startup, and handover activities to ensure successful delivery.

  • Participate in executive stakeholder meetings and provide clear project updates regarding progress, quality, safety, and commercial performance.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, startup, and handover activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support contract administration and oversee project controls throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners while driving accountability across all workstreams.
  • 5+ years of project management, construction management, or owner's representation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Experience delivering mission-critical, data center, industrial, advanced technology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or other technically complex construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost management, procurement, and risk management.
  • Ability to review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience managing contractors and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and travel as required throughout Michigan.
