Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up custom home projects in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with individual home values reaching up to $10M. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle while delivering high-end residences that meet strict quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
Our client is a well-established luxury custom home builder with a strong presence in Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding South Florida market. They specialize in one-of-a-kind, architect-driven homes and are known for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and strong relationships with discerning homeowners, architects, and designers.
Description
- Manage all phases of ground-up custom home construction from preconstruction through final turnover.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls for homes up to $10M in value.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent is executed.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Manage procurement of long-lead materials and high-end finishes.
- Review and process RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
- Communicate regularly with homeowners, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the build.
- Ensure projects comply with local building codes, inspections, and safety standards.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience managing ground-up luxury custom homes or high-end residential projects.
- Proven experience delivering custom homes valued up to $10M.
- Strong understanding of high-end finishes, architectural details, and custom construction methods.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining quality and schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
