Job summary

Maverick Power in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead critical power equipment projects from development through delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, assess risks, and ensure on-time, within-budget results for high-stakes manufacturing programs.

The role emphasizes strong communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, plus rigorous documentation and quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in manufacturing or related field.
• Working knowledge of switchgear and critical power systems.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects related to development and manufacturing of critical power equipment.
• Develop delivery plans considering supply chain, production capacity and resources.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers and manage expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet requirements and priorities.
• Foster collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, sales and support.
• Create and maintain project documentation including plans and status reports.
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Maintain clear stakeholder communication on progress and scope changes.
• Perform other duties as required.
