Job summary

Delta System & Software, Inc. in St. Paul, MN seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead supplier and manufacturing cost reduction programs, aligning cross-functional teams to realize targeted savings.

You will manage BOMs, cost drivers, and manufacturing processes, drive supplier workshops, and track savings, risks, and governance across the program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project/program management, manufacturing engineering, supplier management, or a related field.
• Experience with cost reduction, operational improvement, transformation, or manufacturing optimization programs.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across clients, suppliers, engineering, procurement, and finance.
• Experience in automotive, industrial, or other complex manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of supplier and manufacturing cost reduction programs.
• Manage supplier engagement, readiness, alignment, and execution.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, client stakeholders, suppliers, consultants, and SMEs.
• Ensure data readiness, including BOMs, cost drivers, manufacturing processes, and related technical information.
• Plan and facilitate supplier workshops focused on cost optimization and process improvement.
• Develop and maintain project plans, action items, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track cost reduction opportunities, savings targets, implementation status, and realized benefits.
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and escalations.
• Prepare program reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership.
• Support commercial validation and realization of identified cost savings.
• Ensure adherence to program governance, milestones, KPIs, and reporting cadence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across suppliers and manufacturing operations.

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead supplier and manufacturing-focused cost reduction programs.
• The role will be responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and ensuring successful implementation and realization of targeted savings.

Key Responsibilities
