Job summary

ARCO is seeking an energetic Entry-Level Project Manager to join our Tampa, FL team. You will help manage project performance and drive profitability from day one, working closely with owners and the design team to develop concepts and coordinate the bid and buyout processes.

You will support scheduling, cost reporting, safety, and quality control while growing your construction management skills in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or related field required.
  • 0-5 years' of construction management or engineering design experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, billing and design coordination.
  • Ensure accurate and complete project estimates and help develop preliminary concept drawings with owners and design team.
  • Lead bi‑weekly job site meetings and coordinate with subcontractors to meet scope and budget.

We are looking for a highly motivated Entry‑Level Project Manager who is passionate about the construction process to join our team in Tampa, FL. At ARCO, every associate is empowered to drive their success. You’ll be responsible for project performance and profit from day one.

A Day in the Life:

  • Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including, estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
  • Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
  • Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
  • Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
  • Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
  • Conduct bi‑weekly job site meetings
  • Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
  • Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
  • Commit to quality by evaluating project‑related processes
  • Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
  • Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

Necessary Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering or related field; with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • 0-5 years' of construction management or engineering design experience
  • Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
