Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Project Manager in Massachusetts to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will manage estimating, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and subcontractor buyouts while collaborating closely with owners and the design team.

The role emphasizes delivering value engineering ideas, coordinating with the superintendent for safety and quality, and making sound decisions under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction experience with a GC; design/build preferred.
• Estimating experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage project aspects including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution.
• Collaborate with owners and design team to develop preliminary concepts.
• Participate in proposal meetings with owners to review scope and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee buyout process and selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings.
• Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• 3‑5 years of construction experience running projects with a general contractor; design/build preferred
• Advanced Technology, Food & Beverage, Multifamily, Life Science and/or Data Center project experience
• Estimating experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
