ARCO National Construction Company in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of design-build construction projects. You will manage estimating, scheduling, site coordination, cost reporting, and stakeholder communications to deliver high-quality results.

The role emphasizes collaboration with owners and design teams, development of preliminary drawings, and value engineering to optimize cost and performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field with minimum 3.0 GPA.
• 3–5 years design/build construction experience with a general contractor.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage project aspects including estimating, scheduling, QA, progress reports, and cost reporting.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings with the design team.
• Lead owner meetings and discuss scope, cost reductions, and value engineering ideas.
• Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct bi-weekly on-site meetings and ensure project quality.
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to meet client expectations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including, estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct bi‑weekly job site meetings on site
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlinesOrganize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project‑related processes
• Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectation
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field; with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
• 3-5 years’ of design/build construction experience with a general contractor preferred
• Cold storage experience preferred
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
