Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company in Framingham, Massachusetts, is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the project, work alongside owners and design teams, and ensure high-quality execution.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings.

PROJECT MANAGER – LEAD CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
• Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
• Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
• Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of construction experience running projects with a general contractor
• Estimating experience preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
