Job summary

PayneCrest Electric, a Primoris Company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead digital project delivery, constructability integration, and electrical design coordination for complex industrial and commercial projects.

The role bridges engineering, BIM/VDC, and field execution to ensure models and designs are constructible, fabrication-ready, and aligned with installation workflows.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent, or relevant field experience.
• Valuable work or internship experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Microsoft Access, Bluebeam Revu, and CAD/BIM software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate as needed to support local and national projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sage project execution: oversee safety practices and foster a strong safety culture on the project.
• Understand project documents: review contract, estimate, specs, labor agreements, and codes to manage risk and ensure quality installation.
• Develop a plan for success: create a project schedule and execution plan and oversee its execution.
• Own the financial outcome: manage costs and forecasting for a positive financial result.
• Develop talent: invest in the development of project team members.
• Manage and develop relationships: maintain relationships with customers and industry partners to identify opportunities.
• Demonstrate the PCE Way in interactions with team members.

We are seeking aProject Manager to lead digital project delivery, constructability integration, and electrical design coordination for complex industrial and commercial projects. This role bridges engineering, BIM/VDC, and field execution; ensuring models and designs are constructible, fabrication-ready, and aligned with installation workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure sage project execution: be responsible for the oversight and execution of safety practices on the project. Ensure a strong safety culture exists within the project team. Hold team members accountable for following safe practices.
• Understand project documents: review and understand project contract, estimate, specifications, labor agreements and code requirements to manage PCE's rusk and ensure a quality installation.
• Establish a plan for success: develop a project schedule and execution plan. Communicate the plan to the team and oversee its successful execution.
• Own the financial outcome: manage project costs and execution to ensure a positive financial outcome. Consistently track progress to ensure accurate forecasting throughout the project.
• Develop talent: invest in the development of project team members to grow their capabilities for the future.
• Manage and develop relationships: manage relationships with past and current customers and industry partners. Leverage the network of relationships to identify new project opportunities.
• Understand the PCE Way and demonstrate those values in interactions with internal and external team members.
