Job summary

Culinary Depot is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead commercial kitchen installation projects from contract signing to completion. You’ll own the process, keep teams moving, and solve problems creatively to meet time and budget targets.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in commercial construction PM, strong knowledge of kitchen systems, and the ability to interpret drawings. Procore and Outlook experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction PM experience.
• Strong understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems in commercial kitchens.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.
• A creative problem solver who anticipates challenges.
• Experience with Procore and Outlook preferred.

You’ll take full ownership — from contract signing through completion — ensuring every phase runs smoothly, on time, and on budget. We’re looking for someone who’s not just organized and driven, but also a creative problem solver who can think on their feet and keep projects moving forward.

What You’ll Do

• Manage commercial kitchen installation projects from contract to closeout.

• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, owners, and subcontractors to meet project goals.

• Oversee installation crews and ensure all work meets safety, quality, and timeline standards.

• Take field measurements, manage submittals, and coordinate FDNY inspections.

• Schedule equipment production, deliveries, and start-ups.

• Partner with Operations and Sales to ensure seamless project execution.

• Proactively identify issues and develop smart, effective solutions.

• Review drawings and specifications to confirm accuracy and compliance.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.

• Strong understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems in commercial kitchens.

• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

  Compensation: $100,000–$140,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
