Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop schedules and budgets, coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a background in construction PM and knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction.
• 3–5 years experience in Estimation, Bidding, or Project Management, preferably in commercial/industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise construction projects from pre-construction through close-out.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Manage project costs, approve invoices, and control expenses.
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular project status reports.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Resolve issues, conflicts, and delays efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction

EXPERIENCE:

• Preferably 3 – 5 years experience in Estimation, Bidding, or Project Management
• Experience with commercial or industrial construction
• OSHA safety training

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Add required items

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in project management software
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Combination of office and construction site work
• May require travel to job sites and extended hours to meet project deadlines
