ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Organize the entire project from order placement by customer through the installation and implementation phase: Schedule sub-contractors, work with material-handling equipment manufacturers and freight companies.
• On occasion solicit and receive bids from designated vendors; on occasion select vendors based on company criteria.
• Establish and manage relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Obtain customer approval for project plans
• Should be proficient with project management software

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Interact with sales personnel, engineers and customers as required to ensure necessary coordination and good communications.
• Process approved project change orders.
• Make periodic site visits to review project progress and report to management as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

3-5 years experience as a Project Manager for material handling system provider, or closely related field
