Job description

We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Manager – Commercialization to serve as the operational quarterback behind every product we bring to market. From new product launches and limited-time offerings to variety packs, packaging updates, innovation projects, and merchandise collections, this role will manage the end-to-end commercialization process that turns great ideas into products consumers can actually purchase.

You will sit at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Creative, and external partners, ensuring every launch stays on track, stakeholders remain aligned, risks are identified early, and execution happens seamlessly. This is not a traditional marketing project management role. Your primary responsibility is ensuring products, programs, and merchandise move efficiently from concept to market. If you love bringing order to complexity, thrive in cross-functional environments, and enjoy building scalable processes, we'd love to meet you.

What You’ll Do Product Commercialization & Launch Management
  • Own project management for all new product launches across the business, including:
    • Limited-time offerings
    • Variety packs
    • Product extensions
  • Build and maintain comprehensive launch timelines, workback schedules, and milestone trackers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and external vendors.
  • Ensure critical launch deliverables are completed on time, including:
    • Regulatory approvals
    • Production timelines
    • Marketing assets
    • Launch communications
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and proactively drive solutions.
  • Manage commercialization of branded merchandise programs, including:
    • Seasonal collections
    • Evergreen branded goods
  • Coordinate timelines between design partners, production vendors, fulfillment partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track product development, approvals, inventory planning, and launch readiness.
  • Ensure merchandise launches align with broader brand and product marketing calendars.
Cross-Functional Launch Leadership
  • Serve as the central hub connecting teams involved in bringing products to market.
  • Lead recurring launch meetings and status reviews.
  • Maintain visibility across launch calendars and key milestones.
  • Ensure stakeholders have clear ownership, timelines, and accountability.
  • Create alignment between product development timelines and marketing activation plans.
Commercial Operations & Process Development
  • Design and improve scalable commercialization processes as the business grows.
  • Build templates, trackers, launch playbooks, and documentation that improve execution efficiency.
  • Establish best practices for launch management, milestone tracking, and cross-functional communication.
  • Continuously improve how the organization plans, prioritizes, and executes product launches.
  • Maintain visibility into the company's product innovation and launch roadmap.
  • Support long-range planning by mapping launch timing, resource needs, and dependencies.
  • Help leadership prioritize initiatives and manage trade-offs across competing projects.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, commercialization, product operations, marketing operations, or related cross-functional roles.
  • Experience managing complex product launches from concept through market launch.
  • Strong understanding of consumer products, retail, DTC, or beverage commercialization processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of seniority.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive accountability and keep projects moving.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
Bonus Points If You Have
  • Experience in beverage, food, CPG, consumer goods, or retail brands.
  • Experience managing packaging development and production timelines.
  • Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing, inventory planning, or retailer launch requirements.
  • Experience managing merchandise or apparel product launches.
  • Experience building project management systems in Asana, Monday, Notion, Airtable, or similar tools
