Job summary

ARCO Companies in St. Louis (Rock Hill) seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial and light industrial construction projects from inception to completion.

You will drive estimating, proposals, contracts, scheduling, budgeting and design coordination on complex builds. You will collaborate with owners and design teams to develop concepts, review scopes, and implement value engineering ideas while managing subcontractor buyouts and biweekly site meetings.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of project management experience on large commercial or light industrial projects.
  • Design/build experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
  • Participate in proposals with owner to review scope and suggest value engineering ideas.
  • Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection.
  • Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings.

A Day in the Life:

Necessary Qualifications:
