Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Permanent Project Manager specializing in commercial HVAC systems within the construction industry. This role manages projects from conception through completion, overseeing design, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with subcontractors and engineers.

Candidates should have 3+ years of PM experience in commercial HVAC, strong leadership, budgeting, and proficiency with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical/HVAC construction.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management (or similar role), specifically in commercial HVAC projects.
• Proven track record of managing HVAC projects from start to finish.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of HVAC projects from conception to completion, including design, planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Review work progress on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments to ensure project remains on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
• Effectively manage risks, including identification, analysis, and communication of risks associated with each project.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.

12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
14. Strong problem-solving abilities.
15. Must have a valid driver’s license.
