The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in electrical construction, can manage multiple projects, and travel locally. Procore experience is a plus; PMP not required. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Projects valued at $1 million or more.
• Procore and related project/estimating software experience is beneficial.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.

• A college degree and PMP certification are not required.

Responsibilities

Project Manager – Commercial Electrical Construction

Work Arrangement: Primarily office-based, with approximately 5–10% jobsite visits

Salary: $100,000–$120,000+ depending on experience

Schedule: Typically 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday; additional hours may be required based on project demands

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up commercial electrical construction projects from award through final closeout. This person will manage project scope, coordinate field teams, oversee documentation and purchasing, and serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors on project-related matters.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of direct electrical construction project management experience and can independently manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical construction projects from award through completion and closeout.
• Review project scopes and determine staffing needs based on project size and complexity.
• Select and coordinate with foremen and superintendents.
• Conduct project kickoff meetings and communicate project expectations to field teams.
• Serve as the primary contact for general contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, transmittals, purchase orders, closeout documentation, and project-related issues.
• Review project progress and coordinate with foremen and superintendents to keep work on track.
• Estimate and manage change orders as needed.
• Oversee multiple projects at different stages of construction.
• Visit jobsites when necessary to review progress, address issues, and support project execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing ground-up electrical construction projects from award through closeout.
• Experience managing projects valued at $1 million or more.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction scope, field operations, and project documentation.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local jobsites.
• Experience with Procore and related project or estimating software is beneficial.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.
