Job summary

Alphahire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from award through final closeout. The role requires leadership of schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor coordination to deliver quality work safely and on time.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple interior construction scopes including acoustical ceilings, read and interpret drawings, contracts, and specs, and communicate clearly with owners, architects, GCs, and field

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of PM experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, or related interior construction.
  • Commercial drywall and metal framing PM experience required.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, contracts, procurement, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, field teams, general contractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency with CM software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or similar.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: HS diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and interior finish projects from award through completion and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to verify scope and identify issues.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
  • Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule progress.
  • Identify project risks and develop solutions to minimize cost, schedule, and quality impacts.
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to clients, stakeholders, and company leadership.
  • Coordinate with estimating and field operations to ensure smooth project handoffs and execution.
  • Oversee punch-list completion, warranty items, final documentation, turnover, and project closeout.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, suppliers, and internal teams.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from contract award through final closeout.

The ideal candidate has proven experience managing commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and related interior construction scopes.   • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
