JLN Contracting is growing and is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our highly-experienced team in our Connecticut office. We are a dynamic and growing firm that provides pre-construction and construction services to the Industrial, Commercial, Financial, Medical, Retail and Automotive market sectors throughout the Northeast. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The primary role of a Project Manager is oversight and accountability for project planning, scheduling, cost management, contract administration and safety management of our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. The Project Manager will manage Project Coordinators whose primary job is to support the Project Manager with day-to-day construction activities.
In this role you will be an essential member of the core team helping to grow our business with high energy and talent to elevate and lead our construction business.

Interested candidates should have a minimum of 3 years construction experience within the commercial general contracting field.

· Must possess good communication skills and should be a self-starter with initiative, enthusiasm and energy for the position.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Administration, or equivalent related work experience.
· Possess strong mathematical and computer skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Good time management skills being able to meet deadlines.
