Job summary

HRforGrowth’s client in Asheville, NC seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The role emphasizes CMAR/Design-Build delivery familiarity, strong client relations, and oversight of schedules, budgets, and quality.

The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project completion.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality control, costs, and overall performance.
  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Participate in preconstruction planning and project development activities.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and field teams.
  • Lead project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, architects, engineers, and other project partners.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Track project costs, change orders, schedules, and budget performance.
  • Prepare project reports, updates, schedules, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance throughout the construction lifecycle

Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 per year
