Haggerty Construction Inc. in California is seeking a Project Manager-Commercial to oversee all aspects of commercial construction from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, client satisfaction, budget adherence, and schedule integrity while coordinating with Operations and Development teams.

The role requires strong leadership and cost control, with proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and CPM scheduling.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and scheduling (CPM).
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and project documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between HCI, clients, and subcontractors.
• Effectively manages scope, schedule, and budget to ensure timely and profitable delivery.
• Lead and mentor team members, including Superintendents and Project Assistants.
• Execute high-quality construction practices aligned with HCI’s mission and standards.
• Prepare pay applications by the 24th of each month and review job cost reports monthly.
• Negotiate subcontracts, ensuring complete and clear scopes of work.
• Monitor general conditions and track job cost variances to maintain profit margins.
• Use Procore for managing RFI logs, submittals, inspections, safety reports, and cost control documentation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strongknowledgeofconstructionmethods,techniques,standards,andindustryregulations.
• Experienceincostcontrol,budgeting,andscheduling(CPMmethods).
• SkilledinMicrosoftOffice(Outlook,Word,Excel,Project),AdobePDF,andProcore.
• Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesandmeetdeadlines.

Preferred/Considered:

• Minimumof5yearsofexperienceincommercialconstructionprojectmanagement.
• Bachelor’sdegreeinConstructionManagement.
• FamiliaritywithBIM,LEAN,andLEEDconstructionpractices.
• Previousexperiencementoringortrainingteammembers.
