Qualifications

  • Active PE license in Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering.
  • Experience managing public agency or federal projects preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage infrastructure and horizontal construction projects at various locations from planning through closeout.
  • Conduct site visits and provide construction support during project execution.
  • Provide engineering oversight for civil works, including site development, utilities, water/wastewater, transportation, levees, and public works.
  • Prepare and review plans, specifications, engineering reports, and contract documents.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, schedules, and pay applications.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, permits, and contract requirements.
  • Support proposal development, client presentations, and business development efforts.
  • Mentor junior engineers and project staff.

We are seeking an experienced licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Civil Engineer Project Manager to lead infrastructure and horizontal construction projects from planning through closeout.

Position Summary

The Project Manager/Civil Engineer is responsible for overall project leadership, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, client coordination, subcontractor management, quality assurance, and successful project delivery.
