Job summary

Power Contracting in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Project Manager who can oversee multi-discipline projects including Civil, Electric Substation, Distribution and Transmission. The role focuses on project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and contract administration to ensure quality and safety.

You will lead CPM scheduling, manage budgets, coordinate engineers, contractors and field teams, and drive projects from start to finish with a strong emphasis on safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or construction management preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction projects.
• Ability to provide a Safe Work Environment for all employees and the public.
• Excellent communication skills and client management ability.
• Ability to create and maintain CPM schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Thorough knowledge of safety standards and legal issues.
• Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
• Travel to remote construction sites is required (~30%).

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from start to finish with multi-disciplinary scope.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources across civil, electrical, and transmission work.
• Manage project accounting, budgeting, and cost control.
