Job description

Project Manager, Capital Projects (Northern California) (Project Management)

JOB SUMMARY

This position will assist with the oversight of Capital Projects within our National senior housing portfolio. The role involves scope development, creating renovation and asset plans, and developing and underwriting budgets to maximize asset value. This is a REMOTE role, ideally based in Northern California.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage and execute daily on-site activities for multiple projects, leading project meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to discuss progress, problems, and scheduling. Serve as the primary contact for all renovation activities.
  2. Conduct property inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed, supervise contractors, troubleshoot issues, and maintain physical property integrity.
  3. Establish expectations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, safe for staff and residents, and conform to scope and contract documents.
  4. Lead project kick-off and close-out meetings, ensuring all documentation is complete and properly filed.
  5. Prepare and update weekly/monthly project status reports, process invoices and change orders, and update construction schedules and trackers.
  6. Participate in planning scopes of work, timelines, and other parameters for Redevelopment projects as needed.

TRAVEL

Some overnight travel is expected for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  1. High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field is highly preferred.
  2. At least 5 years of project management experience in the seniors housing or multi-family industries.

Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

COMPENSATION

The salary range is $90,900 - $140,000 plus bonus, with variations based on location, experience, and education.
