Job summary

TAI is seeking a Project Manager to drive capital improvement and major maintenance across multiple production facilities. You will lead projects from concept through startup, coordinating engineering, operations, contractors and stakeholders to boost plant performance and reliability.

Requirements include 5+ years as a PM in chemical manufacturing, 8+ years in manufacturing, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager in a chemical manufacturing environment.
8+ years of experience in or around a manufacturing/process industry setting.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical considered).
Basic knowledge of design and regulatory Codes and Standards.
Willingness to travel up to 50% to other plants.
Ability to work cross-functionally with Maintenance, Operations, Contractors, etc.
Ability to manage contractors and vendors.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Oversight, coordination and execution of capital and maintenance projects from inception to turnover.
Track, analyze and improve asset utilization, costs, PM compliance and schedules.
Manage multiple projects within scope, schedule, budget and quality parameters.
Coordinate technical activities and address problems across engineering teams.
Monitor budgets, schedules and prepare periodic reports.
Coordinate reviews of engineering deliverables and external resources.
Conduct project meetings and communications with user groups and stakeholders.
Prepare detailed project cost estimates and schedules.
