Pay Range

Compensation for this position is expected to range between$125,000.00 and $135,000.00 per year, in alignment with whatCalifornia Baptist University ( CBU ) reasonably anticipates payingforfor this role. The final rate may vary depending on the candidate’squalifications, experience, and prevailing market conditions. Summary

Provides oversight to project team staff for University capitalconstruction projects; including but not limited to constructionmeans and methods, trade-specific tasks, all aspects of delivery,and for new ‘ground up’, re-purpose and/or Tenant Improvementprojects. Provides supervision, mentoring, oversight, and trainingas required and necessary to assigned University Project staffalong with outside consultants and contractors, asrequired/directed. Provides QA/QC on all aspects of theconstruction process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Participate independently and collaboratively in the strategyand planning for construction and delivery methods, schedules,logistics and solutions for specific major constructionprojects.
• 2. Facilitate and oversee internal and externally sourced cost estimates and ‘ ROM ’ estimates for specific projects in various stages – conceptual on through developed construction documents(CD’s).
• 3. Participate actively in the value engineering process as applicable.
