Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Project Manager within our Creative Center (C2) to lead creative and front-end digital initiatives. You’ll manage scope, schedules, and resources while guiding teams through ambiguity to deliver high-quality work that aligns with brand goals.

You will collaborate with strategy, design, development, and production teams, establish scalable processes, and drive accountability from kickoff to delivery, ensuring timely decisions and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in an agency, marketing, or digital environment.
• Experience supporting both creative production and digital/front-end initiatives (e.g., email builds, web updates).
• Strong understanding of project workflows from design through development.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Strong communication as a bridge between creative and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will lead creative and front-end digital projects from intake through delivery. You will manage scope, schedules, resources, and stakeholder alignment while helping teams navigate ambiguity, make timely decisions, and deliver high-quality work. Working across strategy, creative, development, and production teams, you'll connect design and technical workflows, improve execution, and help establish scalable, repeatable project management practices.

What You’ll Do:

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Manage multiple creative and front-end digital projects, including emails, web experiences, templates, and digital components.
• Build project plans, schedules, and resource allocations using Workfront.
• Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, and reviews while driving accountability and clear next steps.
• Define scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders and project teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership

• Bridge creative and development teams to ensure seamless handoffs and execution.
• Facilitate intake discussions and assess project feasibility, dependencies, and delivery requirements.
• Align stakeholders on priorities, timelines, expectations, and tradeoffs.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Apply consistent project management practices across all work.
• Identify workflow improvements that increase efficiency and team effectiveness.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations, providing clear recommendations and solutions.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience in an agency, marketing, or digital environment
• Experience supporting both creative production and digital/front-end initiatives (e.g., email builds, web updates, component-based work)
• Strong understanding of project workflows that span design through development
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working across cross-functional teams and adapting to changing priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between creative and technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in structured workflows or systems (e.g., Workfront or similar tools)
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, email builds, design systems, or CMS workflows)
• Experience in regulated industries or large enterprises is a plus
