Job summary

Granger Construction in Detroit is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from concept to completion. You will build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and drive projects forward with strong communication and budget oversight.

You will coordinate RFIs, submittals, schedules, and cost tracking, ensuring on-time delivery and BIM/MEP coordination. A proactive, team-oriented mindset will help you manage multiple ventures across sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proactive mindset with tenacity to solve challenges and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between owners, architects, subcontractors, and teams, ensuring seamless communication.
• Manage key project processes, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and cost tracking.
• Develop and oversee project schedules, coordinate MEP and BIM processes, and work closely with internal teams like accounting, design, and estimating.
• Write subcontracts and purchase orders, monitor budgets, and problem-solve to keep projects on track.
• Deliver projects to closeout with a zero-punch list goal and comprehensive handoff.
• Represent Granger's values of trust, integrity, and teamwork in all interactions.
