As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager looking to shift into a product development focus and make an impact evolving cutting edge technology in an exciting field.

Position Overview

IMAIGE is seeking a Project Manager with a strong business analyst background and leanings towards product management to lead the development and evolution of our cutting-edge AI technology and application. The core of this position involves developing a deep understanding of the product, its features, flow, and future vision, and conveying that vision through detailed engineering requirements and design to the development team, ensuring an efficient and timely development cycle. The PM will work closely with the Product & Business Owner and sales team to develop a product roadmap aligned with customer needs. This role will employ project management controls and leverage product management methodologies, including prioritized customer input, to manage product development across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  1. Leverage project management controls and processes to ensure effective communication and management of development tasks and the SDLC.
  2. Ensure a consistent sprint and release cycle using a preferred agile methodology, with a focus on user experience and usability.
  3. Manage an efficient design process to ensure detailed insights for UI implementation, aligned with development plans and timelines.
  4. Create engineering-level requirements, including visuals and designs, to ensure complete understanding and effective implementation by the development team.
  5. Manage a tight and iterative development process that progresses to functionality and quickly iterates to completion with the developer and Product & Business Owner.
  6. Oversee product development, development ticketing, budgeting, and reporting.
  7. Monitor product testing and validation resources to ensure task completion and quality.
  8. Gather feedback from users and sales to determine new software priorities.
  9. Develop and maintain a product roadmap.
  10. Serve as the main communication point between sales, development, and the executive team for product updates.
  11. Act as the primary advocate for product quality and requirements within the organization.
Qualifications Needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in project management with strong requirements and business analyst skills in a software development environment.
  • 1-2 years experience as a technical product manager or in a technical product development environment.
  • Strong general computer knowledge and experience with cloud/mobile development.
  • Strong understanding of project management controls and methodologies, especially agile practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and meeting management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with product and project management software such as ClickUp, BitBucket, Git, MS Project, etc.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing user feedback to prioritize software features is a plus.
  • Experience with QA processes and testing software products is a plus.
  • Previous experience developing product roadmaps.
  • Ability to manage project budgets and provide executive-level reporting.
  • Skill in creating compelling product descriptions and messaging to drive adoption is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills to serve as the central communication point for product updates and progress.
