Job summary

South Western Communications, located in Kansas City, KS, seeks a Project Manager to plan, organize, direct, and control complex installation projects while supervising installation labor and subcontractors and coordinating with contracts and management reports to ensure profitability.

You will lead training, develop employees, maintain schedules, and ensure quality installation, communicating with customers and documenting project status for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in engineering and installation of low voltage systems.
• Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, relay logic, and operations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of job financial reports and ability to control costs on large projects.
• Experience with CCTV, Intercom, Access Control or safety and security IT equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and control project activities to ensure profitability.
• Supervise installation labor and subcontractors; coordinate with engineering.
• Maintain current project plans, specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, services and timely delivery to site.
• Prepare and execute the project installation plan; monitor changes and scope.
• Maintain digital records and progress/status for projects; update stakeholders.
