Job summary

The KION Group in Lainate, Italy is seeking a Project Manager - Automation to lead intralogistics automation projects, ensuring scope, quality, cost and schedule adherence.

You will manage meetings, coordinate with customers and suppliers, prepare schedules, monitor budget, and drive risk management, with up to 50% travel within Italy. Strong English, CAD knowledge, MS Office, and proven project management are required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of the project scope, conducting project evaluation and final report.
• Conduct all required project team, critical & steering committee meetings.
• Communication with the customer from sign of contract to acceptance.
• Preparation, communication and maintenance of the project schedule.
• Communication and negotiation with suppliers.
• In cooperation with HSE, safety of people, systems and environment as per overall company or legislative requirements.
• Monthly short term forecast review.
• Monitor and manage the overall project budget; escalate potential budget issues quickly.
• Project review report preparation with support from project controlling.
• Risk and opportunity management, including any risk mitigation strategies and actions.

The KION Group is on its way to becoming the only true global player and market leader in the field of automated and robotized intralogistics solutions and products. Due to expansion of the Intralogistics team, we are currently looking for a Project Manager Automation to join our team.

The Project Manager ensures that all project goals are achieved within the budget: scope, quality, function, costs, deadlines, under consideration of the contractual conditions and she/he creates the project-specific standards.

The Project Manager reports to the Head of Project Managemet.

Role Purpose:

• Delivery of the project scope, conducting project evaluation and final report


• Conduct all required project team, critical & steering committee meetings
