Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead execution of a utility-scale renewable energy project in Arizona. You will partner with site leadership, subcontractors, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role is 100% on-site in Arizona, with standard hours Monday–Friday and additional hours as project needs dictate. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of project management experience on medium-to-large construction projects.
  • Experience with project controls, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation; ability to read design documents and blueprints.
  • Proficiency with PM tools and Microsoft Project; strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of million-dollar construction projects from initiation to closeout.
  • Develop and manage schedules and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review project plans, allocate resources, and mitigate risks.
  • Track progress, report KPIs, and manage cost reporting to stakeholders.
  • Maintain scopes of work and supplier quotes; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

100% On Site Project Manager - Arizona

Join Hanwha Qcells USA Corp and support the construction of a utility-scale renewable energy project within our Atlas portfolio in Arizona. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project execution and partner closely with site leadership, subcontractors, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

SUMMARY

The Project Manager will support a specific active project within Qcells Atlas portfolio in Arizona and will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including schedule, budget, construction execution, stakeholder coordination, and overall project performance.

This is a 100% on-site, field-based position in Arizona. Candidates must be available to work from the project site for the duration of the assignment. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with additional hours as required based on project needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Overall responsibility for all stages of million dollar+ construction projects
  • Develop,manageandmaintain project schedules and budgets throughout project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations,identifyingpotentialrisksandimplementingmitigationstrategies.
  • Track project progress, reporting, and key performance metrics
  • Cost reporting–Prepare reports regarding the current status of a project to show estimated costs, revenues, and project timeline responsible for project reporting to both internal and external parties.
  • Maintain scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers in accordance with on time, on budget approach.
  • Serve as the primary point of contract for internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues, as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
  • 5+years of professional experience managing the performance of medium-to-large construction projects, renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Experience utilizing PM tools, organization and management of critical path and compliance documentation, and other deliverables.
  • Able to read, analyze and understand design documents, blueprints, and Microsoft Project Schedules as well as Word, Excel and Outlook.

EXAMPLE OF PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.)
  • Able to walk or move continuously while carrying 50 lbs.of tools and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time

The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. If candidates are considered for a nationwide role, then the compensation range will follow the marketability of the job function within those states.
