Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of professional experience, including project management and construction administration.
• Experience in hotels, restaurants, spas, multifamily residential, high-end private residential, or senior housing.
• Strong understanding of the design process from concept to construction.
• Experience leading design teams, managing schedules, and coordinating with clients and consultants.
• Strong technical knowledge of drawings, detailing, finishes, and FF&E.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp; Revit is a plus.
• NCIDQ, LEED, or architectural licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept through construction administration, overseeing schedules, deliverables, and design quality.
• Coordinate workflow with the design team and ensure timely progress.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage scopes, budgets, and schedules throughout the project.
• Develop design concepts, space planning, interior architecture, materials, and FF&E.
• Direct production of coordinated drawings, specs, and presentation materials.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and samples for accuracy.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, lighting designers, and other consultants.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of professional experience, including project management and construction administration.
• Experience in at least two of the following sectors: hotels, restaurants, spas, multifamily residential, high-end private residential, or senior housing.
• Strong understanding of the design process, from concept development through construction.
• Experience leading design teams, managing project schedules, and coordinating with clients and consultants.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction drawings, detailing, interior finishes, and FF&E specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp. Revit experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• NCIDQ, LEED, or architectural licensure is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the design team to development design, including space planning, interior architecture, material selections, and FF&E.
• Direct the production of coordinated drawing sets, specifications, and presentation materials.
• Manage and sometimes help with the design and detailing of custom millwork, furniture, and architectural elements.
• Review design documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with design intent.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, lighting designers, and other project consultants.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and material samples.
• Work with contractors, fabricators, and vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain design intent throughout construction.
• Participate in construction meetings and site visits as required.
