Job summary

HNI Corporation, a global family of brands for workplace furnishings, seeks a Project Manager 1 – Architectural Products to oversee project lifecycles, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and resource management from day one.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 1 year of relevant experience (3 years preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field.
• At least 1-year relevant experience required; 3-years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines. Conduct qualifying reviews with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to plans. Coordinate tasks among team members.
• Monitor and track budget project progress. Report discrepancies and identify alternatives to ensure budget adherence.
• Serve as a primary point of project. Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates.
• Assist in allocating project resources and track utilization.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain project documentation, including plans and status reports. Prepare and deliver project reports.
• Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of functional area techniques and processes.
• Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
