Job summary

FSI Architecture, PC is seeking a Mid-Level Architect to join our New York City based firm. We focus on preservation, restoration, and investigation, delivering a portfolio of projects with a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 5–8+ years of relevant experience, BE/AE degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD with knowledge of NYC codes. RA license preferred; U.S. work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• BS in Architecture, AE, or equivalent from an Accredited University/College.
• 5–8+ years of relevant professional experience; FISP Knowledge/Experience is required.
• RA License preferred.
• Proficiency in drafting and detailing (AutoCAD).
• Knowledge/Experience with NYC Building Codes & Authorities having Jurisdiction.
• Experience with field testing and measurement tools.
• Well-rounded communication skills; both oral & written.
• US citizens or eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform FISP inspections.
• Observe, evaluate, and document site conditions and compile in written reports.
• Interpret NYC and New York State building codes.
• Draft mechanical sets and detailing using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Communicate with clients and conduct site meetings.
• Multi-task and collaborate in a multi-disciplinary office.

We are looking for an efficient and self-motivated candidate to join our interdisciplinary team who enjoys hands-on field environments, creative problem-solving, and working closely with others on a variety of tasks and projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Interested Candidates Must Have

• BS in Architecture, AE, or equivalent from an Accredited University/College
