We are hiring immediately for a Project Manager in our Events Sector, in Southeast - a role that is critical in ensuring our customers receive the electricity, heating, and cooling they need.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the Project Management team & provide strong leadership within the department
• Promote best practices in project management, safety, and documentation
• Develop customer partnerships and relationships with senior management
• Lead 4-6 projects from inception to completion across the US & Canada
• Travel approximately 60-80%
• Provide updates on current project status, including schedule, P&L, issues, risks, etc.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers and sales representatives for project execution and completion
• Ensure all projects have a Project Delivery Plan and are managed according to Aggreko's Project Management guidelines
• Assist the sales team in preparing bids and tenders
• Ensure project management processes are documented in the Operations Quality Management System
• Work closely with regional project management teams to execute the project management PCAT
• Review processes to ensure they meet business needs
• Ensure completion of project stage gate reviews (Kick-off, Initiation & Planning, Closeout) documentation for all projects
• Assist project managers in managing risk response plans, sharing best practices, and leveraging extensive experience to identify, manage, and reduce risks
• Have a general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors

We’re looking for candidates with:

• 4-8 years of high-level project management experience
• 1-2 years of experience in the events industry
• Knowledge of business acumen and P&L management
• Strong understanding of crisis management
• Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
• Experience managing a portfolio of large projects across the US & Canada
