Verst Logistics in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across warehousing, distribution, transportation and IT. You will translate contracts into clear tasks, manage charters, work plans and risk registers, and communicate progress to customers and leadership.

The role requires 5+ years in project management, experience in 3PL or logistics, and strong collaboration across operations, engineering, finance, and sales.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, information systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Five or more years of project-management, implementation, or operations experience.
• Experience in third-party logistics, warehousing, distribution, transportation, or supply-chain operations.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of project planning, budgeting, risk management, change control, and status reporting.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with project-management and productivity tools.
• Ability to travel to customer and operating locations as project needs require.

Responsabilidades

• Manage projects across warehousing, distribution, transportation, fulfillment, value-added services, and technology.
• Develop and maintain project charters, work plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and status reports.
• Translate customer requirements and contractual commitments into clear tasks, milestones, owners, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate Operations, Solutions, Engineering, IT, Transportation, Finance, Sales, Human Resources, Safety, Quality, Procurement, customers, and vendors.
• Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and ensure timely follow-through.
• Monitor scope, schedule, costs, resources, dependencies, risks, and issues; escalate concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Manage change requests and maintain alignment among stakeholders regarding impacts to cost, timing, and deliverables.
• Coordinate testing, training, cutover, go-live, hypercare, operational readiness, and transition to steady-state ownership.
• Support compliance with customer requirements, SOPs, safety expectations, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare customer and leadership updates that clearly communicate progress, decisions, risks, and required support.
• Capture lessons learned and improve project tools, processes, templates, and delivery practices.

Working Conditions: This position operates in office, warehouse, distribution-center, and customer-site environments. Use of personal protective equipment is required while in operational areas

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects across warehousing, distribution, transportation, fulfillment, value-added services, and technology.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, information systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Five or more years of project-management, implementation, or operations experience.
• Experience in third-party logistics, warehousing, distribution, transportation, fulfillment, or supply-chain operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of project planning, budgeting, risk management, change control, and status reporting.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with project-management and productivity tools.
• Ability to travel to customer and operating locations as project needs require.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Lean Six Sigma, or comparable certification.
• Experience with warehouse management, transportation management, labor management, enterprise resource planning, or electronic data interchange systems.
• Experience supporting facility start-ups, customer onboarding, systems integrations, automation, or process improvement.
