Job summary

CCI- Computer Consultants International, Inc. is seeking a senior Project Manager for a 1-year assignment in Lansing, MI. The role requires leading large, multi-vendor IT projects in a governmental/public sector setting with in-person interviews and a hybrid onsite schedule.

Qualifications

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• 8+ years of experience managing projects with budgets greater than $20 million
• 8+ years of experience managing IT projects within a large, complex enterprise environment
• 8+ years of experience managing vendors and/or third-party solution providers
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Experience leading multiple concurrent projects and driving work to successful completion with minimal supervision
• Experience handling variety of stakeholders and system/ business owners from other departments
• Experience managing multi-vendor environment in a government environment
• Experience providing project management services for IT Projects involving Commercial Off the Shelf Technology (COTS)
• Oversee technical teams with system architecture and integration across SaaS solutions

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant project management certification
• Experience using project portfolio management systems and tools (eg. Clarity)
• Previous experience working within state government, the Department of Corrections, or other public sector agencies.

The Project Manager will lead a variety of initiatives throughout the year. Projects may include, but are not limited to, technology implementations, organizational initiatives, procurement efforts, and RFP-driven projects within both Agile and traditional project delivery environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, with demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex projects within government or other public sector organizations.

Assignment duration: 1-year with the possibility of extensions based on business needs

Position location: Lansing, MI (HYBRID): Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Monday's and Tuesday's are required onsite days)
