Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively seeking an experienced Degreed Project Manager (PM3) for a one-year contract in the Waynesboro, GA area. The role requires nuclear experience, PMP, and 10–15 years of progressive PM leadership. PPE is required, with precise safety responsibilities and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

The position involves managing complex projects, planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. Start date: 11/23/2026; end date: 11/30/2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in project management, business, engineering, or a related field.
• A Project Manager with Nuclear Experience and 10 – 15 years’ experience, with a proven track record of leading and managing complex projects.
• The preferred backgrounds are I&C, Electrical, & Mechanical (in that order)
• 10 years Project Management experience, & PMP - Project Management certification is required.
• Advanced certifications and specializations are highly preferred
• Strong experience in managing projects that impact organizational strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects.
• Provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, overseeing the efficient allocation of resources.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables, collaborating with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to proactively address project challenges.
• Monitor and control project progress, maintaining accurate project documentation and providing regular reports to executive management.
• Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, ensuring project alignment with organizational goals.
• Apply advanced project management methodologies, innovative approaches, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Mentor and coach project management teams, sharing industry expertise and best practices.
