GerrityStone, one of New England’s largest and most technologically advanced fabricators, is seeking a Project Manager to guide custom countertop projects from template through installation.

This role partners with designers, architects, builders, and contractors in a collaborative environment backed by state-of-the-art equipment and clear systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in countertop fabrication or related field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills for handling multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer-service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from templating to installation for granite, marble, quartz, and stone projects.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, designers, and builders after sale; set expectations and provide updates.
• Coordinate with sales, fabrication, schedulers, and installers to track progress and maintain docs.
• Occasionally conduct site visits to verify measurements and ensure installations meet specs.
• Communicate timelines, estimates, approvals, and project closeout docs including Slabsmith visuals.
• Collaborate with sales/PM team to identify process improvements and strategy.
• Represent GerrityStone in client meetings and industry events to foster repeat business.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, including templating, material selection, fabrication, and installation for granite, marble, quartz, and custom stone projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, designers, and builders after the sale, setting expectations, providing updates, and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with sales managers, account representatives, fabricators, schedulers, and installers to track progress and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Occasionally conduct site visits to verify measurements, assess progress, and confirm installations meet specifications.
• Communicate timelines, estimates, post-template documents and approvals, Slabsmith visualizations, and project closeout documentation.
• Collaborate with the sales and project-management team to identify process improvements and contribute to team strategy.
• Represent GerrityStone in client meetings and industry events, fostering strong relationships that support repeat business.

What You Bring

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in countertop fabrication, stone materials, home design, kitchen and bath design, construction project management, or a related building industry.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer-service abilities when working with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with stone-fabrication processes and materials is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in project-management tools, CRM systems, and software for scheduling, quoting, and collecting payment.
• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or a related field preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant experience; a valid driver’s license is required for occasional site visits.
