Job summary

CoreBrace is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a strong background in steel fabrication to oversee full project lifecycles. You will coordinate teams, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery with quality documentation and client communication throughout the project.

The ideal candidate has PM experience in structural steel, a degree in engineering or construction management, strong leadership, and excellent written and verbal skills. Travel to sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of structural steel construction related project management involvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management and/or PMP certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PM software; AutoCAD is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status and satisfaction.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure milestones are met.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, address overruns with corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and negotiate change order requests beyond original scope.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, budgets and internal resource allocation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, submittals, and progress reports.
