Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for FEMA and to oversee overall contract performance, personnel management, and task-order execution in a fast-paced disaster-response environment.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across locations, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with federal regulations while maintaining thorough program documentation and regular status reports to FEMA and leadership.

• Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, applicable federal regulations, FEMA policies, and company procedures.
• Support the preparation of task-order responses, staffing plans, cost estimates, technical approaches, and transition plans.
• Coordinate with corporate leadership, contracts, finance, human resources, recruiting, security, and operations departments.
• Maintain complete and accurate project documentation suitable for federal review and audit.
• Promote effective communication, accountability, teamwork, and customer service throughout the program.

Summary

The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for FEMA and will be responsible for overall contract performance, personnel management, task-order execution, quality control, schedule compliance, and financial oversight. This individual must be capable of managing multiple concurrent projects supporting FEMA grant programs and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, disaster-response environment.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of federal contract administration, performance reporting, quality control, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior government officials, contracting personnel, technical staff, and corporate leadership.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project scheduling tools, collaboration platforms, and project management software.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, business administration, public administration, project management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible project or program management experience.
• At least five years of experience managing federal contracts, FEMA programs, disaster recovery projects, emergency management programs, or federally funded grant activities.
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and contract deliverables.
• Experience managing multiple task orders or projects simultaneously.
• Ability to travel and deploy to disaster-affected locations when required.
• Ability to successfully complete applicable federal background screening and suitability requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in emergency management, business administration, public administration, project management, or a related discipline.
• Project Management Professional certification.
• Certified Emergency Manager designation.
• Direct experience supporting FEMA grant programs, including Public Assistance, Hazard Mitigation Assistance, preparedness grants, or disaster recovery programs.
• Knowledge of the Stafford Act, Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations, FEMA grant guidance, and federal disaster assistance programs.
• Experience managing an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, blanket purchase agreement, or multiple-award federal contract.
• Experience recruiting, mobilizing, and managing personnel for nationwide disaster operations.
• Previous experience serving as a key person on a large federal contract.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $137,000.00 to $157,000.00 annually.
