Job summary

Cogent Infotech Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced End-to-End Supply Chain Project Manager to lead complex initiatives across raw materials continuity, supplier risk mitigation, logistics optimization, inventory balancing, and ERP supply chain rollouts.

You will bridge global procurement, demand planning, manufacturing, QA, and distribution to build resilient, cost-efficient supply chains for our life sciences portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of project management within global supply chain, procurement, or logistics in regulated industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP, inventory management, supplier risk management, and cold-chain logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and AP/CP planning tools.
• Certifications like CPIM/CSCP or PMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain projects including raw materials continuity, supplier localization, and cold-chain logistics.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and risk registers in MS Project or Smartsheet.
• Coordinate supplier qualification, onboarding, and change control with QA/Regulatory teams.
• Analyze bottlenecks and single-source risks to design mitigation strategies for business continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance, and capacity scaling with Global Procurement and Sourcing.
• Align production scheduling with long-lead material forecasts with Demand Planning/S&OP.
• Apply lean concepts to improve inventory turns, warehouse throughput, and logistics lead times.
• Establish KPIs and lead cross-functional project review boards and status reporting.

In this role, you will lead complex end-to-end supply chain initiatives, including raw material continuity programs, supplier network risk mitigation, logistics optimization, inventory balancing, and ERP supply chain rollouts. You will act as the operational bridge between global procurement, demand planning, manufacturing plants, quality assurance, and distribution logistics to build resilient, cost-effective supply chain networks across our life sciences portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Supply Chain Project Management

• Lead strategic supply chain projects focused on dual-sourcing critical raw materials, supplier localization, inventory optimization, and cold-chain/logistics network design.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, milestones, critical path dependencies, and risk registers in MS Project or Smartsheet.
• Coordinate material qualification, supplier onboarding schedules, and component change control processes in partnership with Quality and Regulatory teams.
• Analyze global supply chain bottlenecks, single-source vendor vulnerabilities, and lead-time variability; design proactive mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement and Strategic Sourcing to monitor supplier performance metrics, contract compliance, and capacity scaling.
• Partner with Demand Planning and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) teams to align production scheduling with long-lead material forecasts.
• Apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) / Lean concepts to streamline inventory turn cycles, warehouse throughput, and logistics lead times.
• Establish clear project KPIs, tracking order fulfillment rates, inventory carrying costs, and lead-time reductions.
• Lead cross-functional project review boards, executive status reporting, and steering committee briefings.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated project management experience within global supply chain, procurement, or logistics—preferably in biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Domain Skills: Deep understanding of S&OP, inventory management, supplier risk management, logistics (including temperature-controlled/cold-chain shipping), and change control processes (cGMP / ISO 13485).
• Tools: Proficiency in enterprise ERP systems (SAP MM/PP/SD or Oracle SCM), Advanced Planning Systems (Kinaxis, RapidResponse), MS Project, Smartsheet, and BI tools (Power BI / Tableau).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) and/or PMP (Project Management Professional).
• Experience managing global supplier qualification programs or raw material re-sourcing projects in regulated life science environments.
• Continuous Improvement expertise (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt or PPI practitioner).
