Job summary

Koniag Operations Services LLC is seeking a Project Manager to support the government contract at Quantico, VA. This role requires on-site presence with readiness to respond outside standard hours and will coordinate with government stakeholders to ensure program success.

You will lead a skilled team, manage budgets, schedules, and vendor performance while creating professional briefings and written documents for executive audiences. A strong leadership and compliance mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a workforce on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Proven track record managing government contracts with strong performance metrics and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interface with government and corporate leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; skilled in creating complex spreadsheets, professional briefings, and written documents.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, including security briefings/debriefings; professional, customer-service oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract matters, with authority to act on behalf of the Contractor with the Government customer.
  • Designate and develop an alternate PM to ensure continuity of coverage and contract support.
  • Lead and manage a skilled workforce delivering services meeting contract size and complexity.
  • Ensure contract compliance across performance areas, including schedules, deliverables, SLAs, and quality.
  • Maintain on-site presence during Government hours and respond rapidly outside core hours.
  • Build and sustain relationships with government stakeholders, providing status updates and proactive communication.
  • Oversee program financials, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation for efficiency and mission success.
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence and customer-service oriented performance.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor performance, ensuring contractual obligations and quality.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, status reports, and essential contract communications.

Overview

Koniag Operations Services LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Manager to support KOS and our government customer in Quantico, VA. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Shift Structure
  • Monday through Friday: Government's regular working hours (on-site)
  • Must be available on-site within one hour after the Government's regular working hours
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract matters, holding full authority to act on behalf of the Contractor in dealings with the Government customer
  • Designate and develop an alternate PM to ensure continuity of coverage and uninterrupted contract support
  • Lead and manage a skilled workforce delivering services consistent with the size, scope, and complexity of the contract requirements
  • Ensure contract compliance across all performance areas, including adherence to schedules, deliverables, service level agreements, and quality standards
  • Maintain a consistent on-site presence during the Government's regular working hours and ensure rapid response availability outside of core hours
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with government stakeholders, providing regular status updates, briefings, and proactive communication to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Oversee program financials and resources, including budget management, staffing plans, and strategic resource allocation to maximize efficiency and mission effectiveness
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer-service oriented performance across all contract activities
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor performance, holding partners accountable to contractual obligations and deliverable quality standards
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive written and verbal communications, including executive-level briefings, status reports, and other required contract documentation
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity
  • Proven track record managing government contracts with demonstrated success in meeting performance metrics and customer expectations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of government and corporate leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high‑accountability environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat; skilled in creating complex spreadsheets, professional briefings, and comprehensive written documents
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, including providing security briefings and debriefings as required
  • Must perform all duties in an extremely professional, customer-service oriented manner
