Job summary

Davenergy Solutions is seeking a full-time Project Manager to serve as the Owner’s Representative for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at the Castle Point VAMC in Wappingers Falls, NY.

You will provide onsite construction observation, coordination, documentation, and QA support for upgrades within an active medical campus. A four-year track record in construction management and the ability to obtain VA access are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, IT, Electronics Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of four years in construction management, inspection, or related construction support services.
• Experience with occupied renovations, shutdown coordination, and stakeholder coordination within active facilities.
• Ability to obtain VA site access/badging.

Responsibilities

• Perform field observations documenting construction progress, site conditions, work activities, and potential conformance issues.
• Monitor construction progress, upcoming work activities, and potential delays for review by the PM and VA team.
• Assist with shutdown planning and coordination with VA facilities personnel and stakeholders.
• Prepare daily reports documenting progress and site conditions.
• Maintain organized project documentation including inspection reports, correspondence, photos, and deficiency logs.
• Assist with punch list, deficiency tracking, and closeout activities.
• Assist with change orders documentation and potential field verifications.
• Coordinate or witness inspections, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Support project safety efforts with the Site Safety Manager.

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager at the Castle Point VAMC in Wappingers Falls, NY. This position serves as the Owner’s Representative supporting the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades Program. The Construction Manager will provide onsite construction observation, coordination, documentation, and quality assurance support for infrastructure upgrades and renovation work within an active medical campus environment.

Requirements

Requirements

• Experience performing construction observation, QA support, inspection, construction management, or owner’s representative services on commercial, healthcare, federal, or institutional construction projects.
• Familiarity with occupied renovation work, shutdown coordination, phased construction, and stakeholder coordination within active facilities.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction practices, materials, means and methods, and institutional building systems.
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems and telecommunications infrastructure, including structured cabling, fiber optic systems, pathways, and IDF/MDF room construction.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work professionally in active construction environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required VA site access/badging.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Architecture or a related field. Relevant experience or training may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in construction management, inspection, quality control, or related construction support services required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to see, hear, walk, drive, climb, reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be prepared to encounter all construction site conditions, including noise, dust, heights, odors, and enclosed spaces, and be physically capable of traversing sites with unstable footing, stairs, rough terrain, adverse weather, ladders, roofs, and other mobility-challenging conditions. Must possess the physical ability to take measurements, perform tests comparing in-place work to contract requirements, and observe work activities throughout the course of construction.
