Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Sales professional to join our team. As a Construction Sales representative, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the estimation and sales process for the reconstruction of damaged homes and buildings. Your expertise in sales will contribute to restoring properties to their pre-loss conditions while ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the sales and mitigation teams to assess the scope of work after the demolition phase.
  2. Establish a strong rapport with homeowners, guiding them through the reconstruction process, managing expectations, and actively promoting our services.
  3. Prepare comprehensive job files, including detailed notes and relevant photos, to support the sales and estimation process.
  4. Utilize technology such as Docusketch and Xactimate to generate accurate estimates.
  5. Engage in sales activities, including lead prospecting and networking, to acquire new construction projects.
  6. Maintain communication with homeowners to provide updates, address concerns, and secure commitments.
  7. Coordinate with insurance adjusters to obtain approved scopes of work and foster relationships for future opportunities.
  8. Conduct estimate reviews with homeowners, ensuring contracts are signed, payments are collected, and budgets are adhered to.
  9. Collaborate with the construction team on project planning and execution.
  10. Assist in procuring materials, leveraging sales skills to negotiate favorable terms.
  11. Work with homeowners and superintendents on change orders or supplements as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of construction practices including drywall, insulation, paint, trim, flooring, framing, cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate software.
  • Proven experience in construction sales with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and work in a team.
  • Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful background check.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Physical and Work Environment:

Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including walking, standing, driving, climbing ladders, and walking on roofs.

Pay Rate:
