Job summary

OmniSolve INC is seeking an IT agile project manager for a civilian government client. The role focuses on leading deployments of complex IT projects, coordinating across business lines, and managing day-to-day oversight of multiple projects.

Strong knowledge of the SDLC, agile methods, security, data integration, and change management is essential. The position is 100% remote with immediate start for a multi-year period, offering a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years leading IT projects using Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and EVMS/CMMI/ITIL
  • 5+ years PM experience with IT systems; Bachelor’s in a related field preferred or 8+ years with no degree
  • Hands-on software development experience; strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of IT projects from conception through requirements, costing, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Manage all aspects of project and program engagement: scope, planning, vendor management, budget estimation, and security compliance
  • Lead initiatives using Agile methodologies in a DevOps framework
  • End-to-end SDLC knowledge: initiating, planning, requirements, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; anticipate issues
  • Track and control outcomes, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
  • Deliver quarterly PM review presentations to Leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure quality standards and security/data integration considerations are addressed
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities and wear multiple hats

Job Title: IT Project Manager

Job Location: 100% remote

Clearance Requirement: NACI (Public Trust) to be obtained by OmniSolve/Government after Government acceptance

Employment Period: Immediate hire for full time work for the period from September 2026 - September 2031

Education:
  • A minimum of two(2) years overseeing IT projects involving the use of Agile methodologies, processes, and procedures, including but not limited to Scrum and Kanban, and also including the use of Earned Value Management, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Information Technology Information Library (ITIL), and MSProject, as well as prior hands-on technical experience in a software development environment, and
  • At least five (5) years of project management experience with IT systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field or
  • At least eight (8) years of project management experience with IT systems and no degree requirement

This candidate will be responsible for the management of deployments of complex information technology projects and to solve problems that may have various levels of functional integration and involve multiple business lines. Responsibilities include
  • Drive execution of IT projects from conception through requirements, costing, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from scope & planning, to vendor management, budget estimation, and security compliance
  • Lead initiatives/projects using Agile methodologies in a DevOps framework
  • Solid knowledge of Project/Program Management: Software Development lifecycle (SDLC) end to end; initiating, planning, requirements gathering, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing
  • Excellent communication skills; effectively communicate with cross functional teams and multiple lines of business & stakeholders; anticipate
  • Track and control outcomes to resolve issues, dependencies and critical path deliverables
  • Quarterly Program Management Review presentations to Leadership and various stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices; review project deliverables to measure effectiveness including those related to application security and data integration
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, can wear multiple hats, and be able to juggle competing priorities
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize & deliver with constantly shifting & evolving projects
  • Evaluate assess & analyze metrics and project effectiveness
  • Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solution of problems; revise, as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements
Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have experience in the following:

  • Demonstrated cross-functional project management experience
  • Experience working with project management methodologies such as Agile including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices
  • Understanding of data integration communication protocols such as APIs, ETLs, web services, etc.
  • Knowledge and experiencing with systems security requirements and implementation including ability to perform quality assurance of security documents related to procedures, design, implementation, and deployment/operational guides
  • Experience working with quality management approaches and techniques; experience working with delivery assurance policies, procedures, and to ensure compliance
  • Experience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases
  • Knowledge of Google Suite
  • Knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software and equipment
  • Knowledge of IT project management principles (e.g. Agile SCRUM or Kanban) and software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor
  • Keen problem solving and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required,

  • Federal government experience
  • PMP, Agile or other relevant certification and experience preferred, e.g., Scrum Master
