Project Manager

Journal Technologies is looking for a high-energy, results-oriented project professional to work on eLitigation projects for our growing software and services company. The successful candidate will have a background in software rollouts including requirements gathering, environment setup and install, configuration/development, training, go-live, and support.

The Software Implementation Specialist (SIS) will work as a member of the eLitigation team. The SIS is responsible for delivering contracted products and services such as reports, business rules, and general software configuration. The SIS will interact with customers as a primary representative for Journal Technologies as well as coordinate and complete a variety of activities in the configuration process. The Software Implementation Specialist will be a standing expert on Journal Technologies’ Product offerings, our internal implementation processes, and the customer’s business processes.

Responsibilities

• Establishes project goals,objectivesand requirements,tracksand reports project status.
• Monitors and reports the progress of all project activity, including significant milestones, and any conditions that affect project cost or schedules.
• Advisesthe client and company management of project risks ina timelymanner.
• Analyzes and reports actual performance against the plan, recommending adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
• Creates communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues and assurestimelyadaptive action is taken.
• Conducts project meetings andis responsible forproject documentation.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team centered environment
• Proventrack recordof managing multiple large implementations, meeting strict deadlines,identifyingpotentialissuesand controlling scope creep
• Proficiencyin project/program management methodologies and practices
• Knowledge of, and competency in, project management processes, including planning tasks,allocatingresources, risk management, issues management, time management,financial management, team management, quality management,monitoring and reportingand documentation
• Demonstrates accountability, responsibility, and a passion for project management
• Self-motivated, with a positive attitude
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized
• Ability to plan andfacilitateeffective meetings
• Strong communicationskills for working with internal and external clients
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira and Project/PPM applications

• Experience with Agile SCRUM/Kanbanmethodologypreferred
