Purely Elizabeth

Based in Boulder, CO, Purely Elizabeth is a high-growth natural foods company focused on creating products using elevated, nutrient-rich ingredients. Their award-winning products include granola, oatmeal, and cereal. Founded in 2009 by Elizabeth Stein, a certified holistic nutrition counselor, the company is dedicated to helping consumers thrive on their wellness journey.

What You Will Do

As Project Manager, you will help drive improved performance across the entire business by planning and driving implementation of new initiatives, including product innovation and renovation, cost improvement, and manufacturing and logistics network changes. You’ll lead commercialization projects that touch every part of the business, working with R&D, operations, marketing, sales and contract manufacturing partners to keep a high volume of projects and touchpoints on track. You are a key member of the Supply Chain team and report to the Director of Commercialization.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project lifecycle for assigned initiatives, partnering with functional and project leaders to build plans and timelines, maintain project documents, and allocate resources.
  • Manage project administrative tasks, including PM tool updates and preparation of BOMs, packaging artwork briefs, and master data item setup with cross-functional input.
  • Lead cross-functional groups through productive work sessions, ensuring alignment and documenting key decisions.
  • Drive projects forward by tracking task completion, holding team members accountable for assigned work, and ensuring critical milestones are met.
  • Identify roadblocks, risks, and challenges; work cross-functionally to resolve them and escalating as needed, adjusting as priorities and project direction shift.
  • Report project status to stakeholders with concise descriptions and visualizations that create visibility and alignment across the organization.
  • Proactively identify and initiate process improvement opportunities.
Who You Are

You’re highly organized, detail-oriented and at your best managing a high volume of touchpoints across many projects at once, from a packaging graphics update to a new product launch. Proactive and hands-on, you’re energized by having a hand in every part of the business. You’re comfortable facilitating meetings and guiding cross-functional teams, you bring a strong sense of urgency, and you adapt quickly when priorities shift, which happens often at a fast-growing brand. When it comes to AI and new tools, you’re an early adopter who’s always looking for a better way to get things done.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in a CPG food manufacturing environment; natural foods experience is a plus.
  • Experience leading projects in a team environment across multiple functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Operations or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Asana, Smartsheet, or other project management software experience preferred.
  • Nice to have: TraceGains, ERP experience, Six Sigma Black Belt, or PMP.
  • Remote with travel to Boulder about once a month or for Boulder/Denver candidates, hybrid in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • 10-20% travel as needed.
