Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

The Project Manager role is responsible for helping to deliver IDEA offerings through successful management, communication, implementation and delivery of multiple projects on a day-to-day basis achieving client and business goals.

Duties also include operational responsibility to ensure effective and efficient ways of working as well as budget development and reconciliation, project profitability and timelines for proposals.

Remote (US, East Coast)

Project Management & Execution

  • Plan projects according to brief, deadlines and budget (initiate, plan, execute, and close out of projects in line with IDEA Ways of Working).
  • Logistics, event and calendar management for projects and support of the Account Management / Client Services Team.
  • Work with consultancy team and project leads on successful planning and delivery of projects to scope, budget and agreed timelines.
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress, changes, and any potential impacts.
  • Coordinate and prioritize activities/milestones across projects and in line with operational targets.
  • Work with relevant project management technologies.
  • Work with SAI divisions, associates or third-party vendor services, enhancing collaboration, communication, and overall project efficiency.
  • Support project budget development and ensure a seamless and optimized path-to-PO, including creation of project SOWs, awareness of MSA, and management of project invoicing and expenses.
  • Track key performance metrics, regularly reporting on project status, risks, corrective actions/solutions and outcomes to stakeholders, fostering transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure project plans meet the client brief and expectations on deliverables.
  • Work with account and project lead for opportunities to increase the project scope of work further and organic business development opportunities.
  • Workshop travel, attendance and onsite management of logistics where required.
  • Preparation of all client meetings/milestones for projects.
  • Work with the team to ensure all work is delivered on time and with quality.
  • Work with the team to prepare for and lead internal and client status meetings, ensuring the client is clear on next steps.
  • Resolve/report issues/conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Recognize individual team member contributions.
  • Obtain and maintain a detailed understanding of IDEA services and how they fit into client needs.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company within the scope of the Project Manager role / Client Services Team.
  • Take ownership for seeking opportunities for self-development and take responsibility for own growth.
  • Monitor own behavior and impact on others, to ensure the continuous promotion of a collaborative and IDEA working environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a client-driven environment, preferably within the pharma industry, med comms or previous advisory board management experience.
  • A proven track record in project management. Your attention to detail must be second to none.
